I'm learning to crawl!
Hey everyone I visit,
Lock up your cupboards, hide your unsafe bits and pieces. Zoë (that's me) has gone mobile, and that doesn't mean I've got a new phone!
Click here if you have broadband or here if you use dial-up to see my first efforts at moving around. (Unfortunately both of the batteries in the video camera were flat so the video cuts out when the last battery ran out... sorry! Dad.)
It ain't pretty, but it's effective. My mummy says to tell you that I am much more efficient at getting around when I want to, but not when I'm being made to for a silly video camera. I love being up the front in a live show (like at church), but I'm not much good in front of a camera.
I practised my getting around in the cot. Mummy and daddy put me to bed one way and when they come to get me later, they find I've totally relocated to the other end of the cot. Pretty groovy, huh?
So what's this mean for the Farrell household? Firstly, daddy and mummy have new headaches as they unpack from the BIG MOVE: now they have to keep things out of my reach. They've had to fit a gate at the top of the stairs (where the video camera was sited when filming me), and stuff like that. For me, it means INDEPENDENCE. (Yeh right - dad).
By the way, I'm a big girl now. Yesterday was my six-month birthday. Daddy says I'm growing up too much for he and mummy to enjoy, but I can't wait to get my licence, go to uni, get a job, etc, etc. (Daddy - not until you're 45, ok).
Love Zoë.
